Lalamilo Beach House Reviews
Best Beach House – White Sand Beach
“For the second time my family and I have stayed at Lalamilo and once again it became our home. The warmth and beauty of the islands surrounds you and the layout of the home enable all of us to stay in the same place comfortably. The great room and kitchen allows us to cook and eat together and the yard which extends out to join the beach allowed the children to be back and forth easily to the beach. We will definitely return!”

A Piece of Paradise
“What a fantastic place! Lalamilo Beach House was the perfect setting for our family vacation! Just pack a bathing suit and go now! Gracious space for sleeping and hanging out. The kitchen worked great for cooking for a crowd. We spent most of our time on the beach and the fabulous deck! The coral reef right out in front of the house hosts a treasure of tropical fish and the gear is provided. Leilani was delightful and so helpful. I highly recommend this piece of paradise!”

Words cannot express how heavenly this retreat is!
“Words cannot express how heavenly this retreat is! Waking up and having a cup of coffee on the beach alone – priceless, a clean, well maintained property – priceless, a kitchen as well stocked as at home – priceless, management that is courteous, concerned, responsive while still allowing privacy – priceless! We have seen turtles, a whale, dolphins and enough memorable sunsets to last a lifetime, will certainly be back. If you are interested in a relaxing, rejuvenating, memorable experience – this is where it’s at. Bring your family – you won’t be disappointed. Blessings. Mrs. G”

It was a paradise
“My wife and I treated our entire family (grandchildren and all) to a week on the Big Island. We were fortunate enough to find the Lalamilo Beach House. It was a paradise, with all the amenities one could ask for. The Puako Beach was fantastic and the sunrise and sunsets to die for. We would recommend this vacation home to all.“

Lalamilo Beach Bungalow
Jan. 2015 – Our family of 4 had a fantastic time in this one of a kind location. The Big Island has so much geographic diversity and is our favorite island to explore. The setting of this bungalow is beautiful. Highly recommended.
Nov. 2014 – Another great family adventure! This is our 6th time to stay at the Bungalow and this time we had six teen age boys with us! The house and accommodations are so friendly and comfortable we truly are able to relax here. With the kayaks and surf boards available for the guys any time, there was never a dull moment. Although this is a public beach, it feels very much like our own slice of heaven. Breakfast on the lanai watching the ocean and listening to the birds is one of our favorite times…. until we sit on the lanai again to watch another beautiful sunset. The personnel at Aloha Debbie Properties are always very helpful and accommodating. Leilani is great to work with and helped us with staying at the house late due to our midnight departure from the airport. She also had great connections with local business to rent kayaks. This trip was a special one for us as we don’t know if we will get all of our sons back here together again. They were 3, 5 and 6 when we first stayed in the Bungalow, they are now 16, 18 and 19. We have had some great family memories here. We would highly recommend this as a place to bring your family for some special times. We love the small town local feel that Puako, Kawaihae and Hawi share with us.
Oct. 2014 – Hawaiian Bungalow – The bungalow is in a great location, with a public beach just feet from the front door and the little town minutes away. Even though it was public beach, it felt private because of the elevated private patio area that is 20 feet from the house. It was great for watching sunsets. The house itself is a bit more rustic than I expected but as long as the trades blow, it is comfortable. It is well stocked with water gear like snorkels and chairs. The interior is nice, again in a rustic sort of way, and has a very usable kitchen. We cooked in mostly, but had a great dinner at the very nearby Hapuna Beach Prince resort. Overall we actually enjoyed the stay at Lalamilo more than our second experience at a resort elsewhere in the islands.
