I absolutely LOVE Lalamilo!
I love being able to walk right down the beach and hearing the waves crashing and rolling at night. WE had an absolutely wonderful family stay with 11 people (4 kids and 7 adults). I definitely want to come back!!! One thing I think is amazing is all the birds and geckos. Can't wait to come back! Thank you so much, Sierra

What else can you say about such a place other than; it was just right. Secluded home with trees and plants all around, which attract the singing birdies. The trees push past the property to the beach, where you'll find both shade and sun, along with lots of families in a very serene coastal environment. The layout of the house was conducive to hanging out in the main area or quietly retiring to one of the four separated bedrooms (one of those bedrooms being its own condo in the back). The kitchen was spacious and equipped enough to handle dinner for twelve. With the lanai beds inside and Adirondack chairs on the deck, there was always some place to plop down and decompress from all the heavy duty beach time. Waialea Bay gives good harbor for all kinds water activities; snorkeling, kayaking, paddle boarding, floating, swimming, boogie boarding. Hapuna Beach is just to the north, for that and more, with good surfing and body surfing in the winter. The property manager, Leilani, was both responsive and helpful, and couldn't have been sweeter. Our family very much enjoyed our time here on our favorite island. Just right.
Our whole family had a wonderful time and hated to leave the Lalamilo Beach House. We'll definitely rent it again in the near future. We also appreciate your staff in taking good care of us. Mahalo!
We are all missing our Lalamilo houses and Waialea Bay and our wonderful magical family holiday! Thank you for leading us to such a perfect spot, perfect houses. It was so fabulous. All the best in the new year! Thank you again for all you did to make this a marvelous holiday for the Brennan family.
Love, Julia
Our family thoroughly enjoyed our week on the big island, staying at the Lalmillo house. The house is so close, in fact literally on, a beautiful sandy beach, and right on Waialea bay where we were able to snorkel, kayak, stand-up paddleboard, and play in the surf to our hearts content. The location truly makes this a unique location, as we were able to spend time on the beach, then run back to the house for lunch or naps, and then back to the beach when we felt like it. The sounds of birds and the waves were a wonderful backdrop when we were eating on the deck. Leilani was great and responsive in coordinating our stay and helping us plan our vacation. We would love to return. Thanks again, Clint and family
Words cannot express how heavenly this retreat is! Waking up and having a cup of coffee on the beach alone - priceless, a clean, well-maintained property - priceless, a kitchen as well stocked as at home - priceless, management that is courteous, concerned, responsive while still allowing privacy - priceless! We have seen turtles, a whale, dolphins, and enough memorable sunsets to last a lifetime, will certainly be back. If you are interested in a
relaxing, rejuvenating, memorable experience - this is where it's at. Bring your family - you won't be disappointed.

My wife and I treated our entire family (grandchildren and all) to a week on the Big Island. We were fortunate enough to find the Lalamilo Beach House. It was a paradise, with all the amenities one could ask for. The Puako Beach was fantastic and the sunrise and sunsets to die for. We would recommend this vacation home to all.
Our family of 4 had a fantastic time in this one of a kind location. The Big Island has so much geographic diversity and is our favorite island to explore. The setting of this bungalow is beautiful. Highly recommended.
We had a great time at this house, perfect for a whole family, adults & kids and great location on a perfect beach. The kids loved playing on the beach and adults enjoyed the nice patio overlooking the ocean and a convenient location to put kids for naps, grab lunch, etc. The house was very clean and stocked with all necessities as well as beach toys, snorkeling gear, etc. We loved it here and plan to come back and tell our friends.
Beautiful views and steps away from Kahalu’u Beach Park. The snorkeling there is impressive! This unit had a perfect location, where from the lanai you see the ocean. Leilani was responsive and thoughtful.
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at Leilani’s airbnb. It is spacious, has full amenities, lovely gardens and pastures surround it and such has fragrant flowers at every turn. We enjoyed cooling off after beach/snorkeling trips each day- so Waimea was perfect for that. Our group was myself, husband, and two teenage girls. The girls ran for exercise down the county lane, sat up in the tree house and talked and had their own space. What’s super cool is we were staring at Mauna Kea from the house all the time- so awesome. Highly recommend and hope to return soon!
The house was spacious, comfortable and in a great location, set back from the road with private gardens and views of Mauna Kea. There was plenty of wildlife to entertain us with roosters and geese on the grounds which made the stay extra fun. Leilani was a great host, communicative and quick to respond to my questions. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing stay away from the larger towns on the island.

Loved this vacation rental! We spent 3 nights here and didn’t want to leave. All the little extras were icing on the cake. The location was great–in betweeen Kona and Keauhou. Exceeded our expectations!
Leilani and her team keep this AirBnB so clean! My parents loved the thoughtful touches of fresh fruit the clean pool and hot tub, their quiet mornings on the lanai waking up with the birds and ocean views, and the friendly groundskeepers who kept it all in great working order. The location was close to quick amenities and easy to get out of town. A perfect 10!
If you are like me and wanted to go to Hawaii but not be in 90 degree weather this is the house for you! Closely located for sight seeing of the northern coast and 1 hour for Kona, Waimea is perfectly situated to be surrounded by cool breezes and a great view of the observatories when the clouds allowed. Not to mention some of the freshest produce on the island! The property is a dream especially if you have little ones…or in our case both sets of elderly parents. The fruit trees were a joy to explore. Coffee, apples, buddha's hand, calamansi, bananas, pineapple, oranges and tangerines to name a few. We spotted a chameleon in the peach tree and several pheasants. The geese on the property were a bit aggressive and tended to follow guests and cars around along the fence line! Also, there is the most adorable treehouse!!! Adult sized! The best part was the open floor plan which allowed those cooking and those sitting in the living room to interact. We spent many evenings surrounded by good food and great company.

We have stayed in many different condos in Kona. This is definitely one of the nicest. Standouts are the central AC which is often not needed with the cross breeze, but a rarity in most condos. Everything was new and clean and very tasteful. View was great, lanai felt more private than you would expect. Well Appointed. It is a ways out from downtown so don’t expect to walk to restaurants, but that made it a lot quieter. Rooms were quiet at night, often not the case for condos right on Alli. You will not be disappointed.
What a beautiful home! Plenty of room to enjoy with friends and a great kitchen layout. It was chilly while we were there and the fireplace kept us cozy. Nice grounds around the house. Shopping is close by and the beaches around 20 min drive. You definitely need a car. It's a great place to be after hot days at the beach.
